Colorful and traditional paintings can be a perfect match to almost every interior. It will bring back some good memories and offer great inspiration. Majority of paintings in the collection represent colorful folklore from Mallorca.
Author of the work, Vizcaino, Spanish painter, originally from Andalucia moved to Mallorca with his wife and circle of friends who were also artists, musicians, singers in the end of the 1960´s during the boom of Mallorca. He had regular exhibitions in different institutions, i.e. at the Circulo de Bellas Artes in Palma de Mallorca in the 1970s and 1980s under his pseudonym Acovi with vanguardist works about actual topics such as uncertain future, emancipation of women (paintings and sculptures), won some prizes at the Asociacion de Bellas Artes de Baleares, and moved in the late 1980s / 1990s to a more traditional painting showing the beauty of Mallorca, and he is still active even if he paints much less now due to his age.
